The TLD ACU-302 Series Pre-Conditioned Air Unit is a self-contained, diesel-electric powered PCA solution engineered specifically for narrow body, regional, and commuter aircraft. Designed to maintain optimal cabin comfort in extreme climates, the ACU-302 delivers 24 tons of refrigeration capacity, removing up to 288,000 BTU/hr in cooling mode to efficiently condition aircraft interiors during ground operations.

For cold-weather environments, the optional heating configuration produces up to 275,000 BTU/hr through a diesel-electric heat exchanger combined with electrical heating elements. The unit offers three operating modes—Cooling, Ventilation, and optional Heating—allowing ground crews to adapt quickly to seasonal and operational requirements without changing equipment.

Built on a durable, high-strength galvanized structural steel frame with four-wheel sprung running gear, the ACU-302 is designed for long-term ramp durability and easy towing across varied airport surfaces. Its direct drive centrifugal blower, equipped with an inlet filtration system, ensures consistent delivery of clean, filtered air to the aircraft cabin. An 8-inch quick-release male coupling with GAC adapter allows for fast, secure aircraft connection, minimizing turnaround time.

The integrated diagnostic and protection circuit safeguards the engine and generator set, helping reduce downtime and protect critical components. A centralized, single-operator control station simplifies operation, placing all instruments and controls within easy reach for efficient, safe use on the ramp.
